Founded in 1990, Northstar Automotive Service Equipment became a privately held corporation in 1997. Headquartered in San Jose, California, approximately 50 miles south of San Francisco in the heart of Silicon Valley, Northstar has earned a strong reputation as a trusted provider of automotive lifting solutions.
Our management team brings decades of industry experience spanning automotive repair, service equipment sales/marketing, OEM lift service, and parking lift design. Throughout our history, we have partnered with some of the industry's leading American lift manufacturers through OEM private-label programs, including Snap-on, Ben Pearson, Western Hoist, and Gemini Auto Lifts. We did OEM private labels for them for many years.
Today, Northstar Automotive specializes in the sales and marketing of automotive service lifts, parking lifts, and replacement lift parts. Our comprehensive product lineup includes 2-post lifts, 4-post lifts, scissor lifts, and parking lift systems, serving customers throughout the United States, Canada, and South America.
